An amazing five days in Puerto Rico started with a day trip to Maunabo, a town on the south eastern shore of the island. There you can enjoy beautiful oceans views from high mountains. The town of Maunabo views include the Faro de Maunabo.
The journey continues with a three day trip to the Island of Culebra. To get there, you may catch a 45 min ferry from the town of Ceiba. This island provides a low pace bohemian culture in Puerto Rico. Culebra hosts Flamenco Beach ranked as one of the best beaches in the world.
After Culebra, we continue the journey to the center of the island to the town of Morovis where you can enjoy a variety of local Puerto Rican dishes from a variety of small restaurants from where you can see the rain forest, the central mountain range and the beaches of the North.
Now I end the journey in my beloved town of Coamo, a town known for it's hot water springs, a place thought after Spanish settlers as the fountain of youth in the mid-16th Century.
